The CMC Dept. of Medicine has added a new unit, the AMBULATORY ONCOLOGY TREATMENT UNIT (AOTU). It was established to provide a dedicated facility where stable cancer patients can receive chemotherapy, biological therapy, or supportive treatment in a restful, comfortable and controlled environment. The unit was blessed and inaugurated last February 8, 2017, headed by our Chairman of the Board,President and CEO, Ms. Carmina C. Desales, MHA, FPCHA, together with Dr. Christia Padolina, Asst. Director for MEPDE, Dr. Lilia Francisco, AOTU Section Head, Drs. Cecile Vida and Amy G. Dy, Oncologists. The blessing was officated by Fr. Thomas, CMC Chaplain.
