At 40, CMC IS GEARED TOWARDS EXPANSION
LIFE BEGINS AT 40. Four decades of continuous operations in an ever evolving healthcare environment is indeed a reality challenge for Capitol Medical Center (CMC). Classified as a tertiary hospital, CMC does not rest on its laurels of housing 300 patients who are provided utmost attention and total quality health care. It carved its position in medical tourism not only within the country but has started etching its trademark in the global arena. To begin its thrust for a modernized operations, and provide expanded service to patients, CMC is working on the construction of a Cardiac Cathetherization Laboratory which caters to the needs of patients with cardiovascular problems. It may sound lofty and wishful but with hard work and persistence the TNC (Dr. Thelma N. Clemente’s acronym) way, any endeavor such as this, will eventually unfold into a ‘dream come true’. Known as Dr. Thelma N. Clemente’s (the founder) brainchild, CMC endeavors to maintain its stature as one of the country’s leading healthcare institutions. Its workforce will toil towards the fulfillment of the founder’s legacy of rendering service to mankind in the most sophisticated and safest way possible. It aims to add/purchase more state of the art equipments and build more facilities that will provide total wellness to people in need of medical assistance. The hospital and its staff can expect for a fulfilling career in this institution as it struggles to keep its head afloat despite rains, high waters and the fluctuating economy of the country and its neighboring states. Capitol Medical Center (tagged as one of the large taxpayers in Quezon City) in compliance with Revenue Regulation # 9-2009 known as the “Implementation or adoption of a computerized accounting system (CAS) “required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has started developing a computerized Accounting system in coordination with the Information Technology Department. The hospital expects full implementation of the program in the near future. Indeed CMC at 40 is starting a new life and is moving forward to keep its present state, working harder than ever towards its aim for GLOBAL RECOGNITION.
