Message from the President

        Dearly Beloved Members of the CMC Family & Friends

For and on behalf of the Board of Directors, the Management Committee, the Medical Staff and Personnel of CMC Inc., and of my humble self, please permit me to extend to each and everyone of you, our affectionate and warm greetings for the coming Christmas Season and the New Year (2010). First and foremost is our appreciation and gratitude to the good Lord for this wonderful Gift of Life. He has given CMC and to all of us His continuous blessings of Unity, Joy, Peace, Success and Prosperity. Second, is our thanks to our loyal patients, their families, our corporate and industrial accounts, the members of our adopted Barangays Paligsahan and San Antonio; the students and faculty of the Gen. Roxas Elementary and High School. We are indeed happy to assure you of our commitment to continue the improvement of our technologies, systems, facilities and other health care services. Lastly, thank you to our doctors, medical and nursing staff and all our other workers in our health care team. We always thank the Lord for making us Instruments of His Healing Power and Love. DR.  LILIA P. LUNA, FPOGS,   Member,  Board of Directors &        Chairman,  Department of Ob-Gyne was awarded as the Woman of the Year by the International Federation of     Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO),  during the XIX Figo World Congress of Gynecology & Obstetrics in South      Africa.  CONGRATULATIONS!

DR. ANGEL JOAQUIN AMANTE,  Head, Transplant Section Department of Surgery was elected as the President of the Philippine     Transplant Society.CONGRATULATIONS!

DR. ARNEL GERALD Q. JIAO, Consultant, Department of Pediatrics was elected President of the Philippine Academy of Pediatric Pulmonologists. CONGRATULATIONS!

DR. MA. LUISA S. ACU, FPOGS,FPSUOB, FPSMFM, Head, Ob-Ultrasound Section,   Department of Ob-Gyne was elected as President of the   Philippines   Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics  and  Gynecology and the Philippines   Society of Maternal and Fetal  edicine.              CONGRATULATIONS!

DR. REY E. SANTOS, Ophthalmologist, Department  of Surgery  was
appointed  as   the new Head of the CMC Eye Center.   CONGRATULATIONS!

DR. FERDINAND E. CERCENIA,   General Surgeon was recently inducted as the 57th President of the Quezon City Medical Society, the largest      component society of the Philippine Medical Association during the 25th Annual Convention of the QCM.       CONGRATULATIONS!
